The Malaga City Fair: Gazpacho

One of the most important festivals in Malaga is the City Fair, which takes place in August. August is the hottest month of the year in Malaga, with temperatures above 40ºC. For this reason, people like to eat and drink things that help to keep them cool.
One of the most typical and common summer drinks is called gazpacho. Gazpacho is typical in our part of Spain, Andalusia, and it can be eaten as a cold soup or a drink, depending on how thick it is. It is a very natural and healthy food that will help you beat the summer heat. Our student Beatriz Maldonado made gazpacho and brought it to school for the whole class to enjoy.
