Our Nation is Italy, it’s like a big boot. In Italy there are 20 regions, we live in Tuscany, near the city of Florence (about 30 km).

In Italy, primary school has 5 classes, from 1st to 5th, with children from 6 to 11 years old. In our institute there are two schools involved in Comenius project

Rignano primary school is in a small village with about 3200 inhabitants.
It has the name of a very important writer: Dante Alighieri, the father of Italian language.

Incisa primaryschool is in a small village with about 4.200 inhabitants.
It has the name of a very important writer: Francesco Petrarca, who lived in Incisa when he was a child.

In Rignano school there are 11 classes, 23 teachers, about 250 children.

In Incisa school there are 8 classes, 16 teachers, about 150 children.

On Monday, Wednesday and Friday we stay at school from 8,30 a.m. to 4,30 p. m. On Tuesday and Thursday from 8,30 a.m. to 12,40 p.m.

Let’s enter in our school! In the halls there are painted walls and the posters of Comenius project.

Beside the classrooms, in our schools there are also the library, where we can read and borrow the book
and the computer room, where we can write stories, send e-mail, use learning games
