Giovannino  found the footprints and he followed them. He met a fox and asked: “Where I can find Elmer?”
The fox answered: “Continue to walk and you will find him”.
Giovannino made another piece of road and he met a squirrel:” Do you know where I can find Elmer?”
The squirrel answered: “Go on and you find him.”

Giovannino trovò le impronte e le seguì. Incontrò una volpe e chiese: "Dove posso trovare Elmer?
La volpe rispose: continua a camminare e lo troverai.
Giovannino fece un altro pezzo di strada e incontrò uno scoiattolo: "Sai dirmi dove posso trovare Elmer?"
Lo scoiattolo rispose : "Vai avanti e lo troverai."
