He found a map that showed him the way to London. On the way he saw dolphins, sea horses and fish. When Giovannin got to London he left his boat by the river edge and took his map to find Buckingham Palace and have some tea with the Queen.
“Do you know Elmer and the Welsh children from Barker’s Lane?” said Giovannin.
“I have an Elmer book upstairs, I like him because he is different and makes me laugh” said the Queen.
She asked a servant to collect the book and a ticket for the train to Wrexham.
“Good luck with your quest, if you find Elmer ride on his back and you will be happy for ever. Good afternoon young man”.

Trovò una mappa che indicava la rotta per Londra.
Lungo il viaggio vide delfini, cavallucci marini e pesci. Quando fu  a Londra lasciò la sua barca sulla riva del fiume e prese la sua mappa per trovare Buckingham Palace e prendere il the con la regina.
“Conosci Elmer  e i bambini gallesi di Barker’s Lane?” Chiese Giovannin.
“Ho un libro di Elmer al piano di sopra, mi piace perché è diverso  e mi fa ridere” disse la regina.
Chiese a un servo di andare  a prendere il libro e un biglietto del treno per Wrexham.
“Buona fortuna per la tua ricerca, se trovi Elmer cavalca sulla sua schiena e lui sarà felice per sempre.
Buon pomeriggio giovanotto!”
